DESHON STREET SEWER AUGMENTATION & RUSSIAN SQUARE SEWER CREEK CROSSING

Site 1: Russian Square Sewer Creek Crossing

Removal of 15.1m of existing DN375 DICL PN35 Tyton Xtreme pipe and 1m3 concrete pier and replace with it with a new 15.1m long OD450 SDR17 PN10 PE100 sewer pipe. The creek crossing replacement pipe is to be concrete encased. The creek bed and banks upstream and downstream of the AC sewer crossing are to be rehabilitated with 300mm thick bed and 230mm thick bank protection using PVC coated reno mattresses.

Site 2: Deshon Street Sewer Augmentation

This project is for the construction of a new DN500 sewer and associated maintenance holes along Deshon Street between Sword Street and Norman Street Woolloongabba. The new sewer is approximately 180m long and shall be predominantly constructed by a trenchless methodology.
