PERSEVERANCE DAM RAW WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

These works involved the removal of the existing Perseverance main and replacement of the existing main with a new Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) main along the same horizontal alignment and at similar level to the existing main over the following sections:

Highfields Section - The specified section incorporates replacement of the main between CH21000 to CH23350 (Reis Road and Dau Road), Highfields including air valves AV23 and AV24, scour valves D16 and D17 and the section/interconnection valve arrangements at Borghardt Road; and

Geham Section – The section incorporates replacement of the main and construction of the section/ interconnection valve arrangements in the area between CH12450 and CH12490 at Geham Station Road, Geham. The main was replaced with OD813 Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) pipe and fittings to a minimum pressure rating of PN35.
