As part of this Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) commitment to the $45 million to upgrade the sewerage system for the towns of Lowood and Fernvale, Bellrise has successfully completed the construction of the Ferny Gully Sewerage Pump Station (SPS) and Fernvale Sewer Rising Main.
The project aims to cater for future growth and development in the Lowood / Fernvale areas which have seen increased development over the past several years.
The Fernvale Sewer Rising Main includes 6.4kms of underground pipe which connects the new Ferny Gully SPS to the new Lowood STP.
The Ferny Gully SPS transfers sewerage from Fernvale to the new Lowood STP.
